Critical Commentary
In the US, privacy regulations have been newly adopted or elevated. Since there is yet to be established a federal regulation, this map shows the privacy legislation progress across the States. Although there are two proposals in-progress at the federal level: the Consumer Online Privacy Rights Acts (D. Sen. Maria Cantwell) and the United States Consumer Data Privacy Act (R. Sen. Roger Wicker).
